Welcome to The Redemption Church, and thank you for coming to worship with us! Please stop by the welcoming table if you are new to Redemption. We’d love to get to know you and for you to get to know us!

Life Groups: Life groups are our church’s small group ministry to study the Word, enjoy each other’s fellowship, and share life with one another. Various groups meet throughout the week: City, Lisle, Lombard, Married, Midwestern U. (Downers Grove), Friday, and the Northwest Suburbs. Membership is an important aspect of church, and TRC wants to grow in our understanding of Biblical commitment through church membership.  Classes start today after service at 1pm in the main worship room, and will continue on 3/6 and 3/13.  A pizza lunch will be provided each week.

Mark your calendars for the 2016 Restore Missions Conference which will take place this weekend March 4-5, 2016 with a focus on Vocational Excellence and Spiritual Conviction.  All sessions will take place at Blanchard Alliance Church at 1766 S. Blanchard St. Wheaton, with evening sessions starting at 7:30pm on March 4 and 6:30pm on March 5.  There will also be multiple seminar sessions on the afternoon of March 5.  For more information, please visit

In preparation for the conference, we will have weekly Sunday night prayer meetings from 7:30-9pm at Blanchard Alliance Church, including tonight!  All are welcome to come pray for this important conference.

The Women’s ministry will be holding a “Baking for Flint” bake sale after service today February 28th. All proceeds will benefit the Flint, Michigan water crisis, and baked goods are provided on a donation basis.  Donations can be given in cash at the bake sale or through Chase QuickPay, specifying “Flint” in the memo.

If you are interested in baptism or confirmation for you or your infant child, our annual Easter service on March 27 will be a baptism service.  There will be a mandatory baptism class on March 13, and let us know you are interested by signing up at the welcoming table.

We are excited to announce that we will be sending a short term missions team to join the outreach efforts of Over-the-Rhine (OTR) Living Water Church in Cincinnati, Ohio.  The trip will be from July 14-23 and will involve attending OTR’s School of Evangelism and assisting a yearly Kid’s Camp.  Other elements of the trip include reaching out to the community including street evangelism and building relationships.  The deadline to register will be March 27, and an informational meeting will take place after service next week March 6 to provide additional details.

The Global Medical Missions Alliance (GMMA) is an organization of Christian healthcare-oriented students and professionals committed to further the kingdom of Christ through the medical profession.  The GMMA 2016 conference will take place on June 24-25, 2016 in Irvine, CA.  Those interested in attending can find more information and register at  For students who are interested in attending, there is a possibility of travel and lodging scholarships from GMMA.  Please let us know if you are interested in attending (e-mail, so we can inquire with GMMA regarding the scholarships.
