Life Groups: Life groups are our church’s small group ministry to study the Word, enjoy each other’s fellowship, and share life with one another. Various groups meet throughout the week: City, Lisle, Married, Midwestern U. (Downers Grove), Friday, and Schaumburg. To join one, email us or sign up at the welcoming table.
Thursday Prayer Meeting: 7:30 p.m. at National Louis University room 850-304
Sunday Prayer Meeting: 9:00am at National Louis University
Sunday Service, Sunday School, and Nursery: 10:30 a.m. at National Louis University
Youth Group [second floor]: Sundays at Noon to 12:45 p.m.
There are plenty of opportunities to put your gifts to good use at TRC. If you are interested in serving in some way, please email us at email@example.com.
With new families and young ones joining our church in recent months, the TRC Sunday School Ministry is looking for additional volunteers to join the teaching rotation. No prior teaching experience is needed, just willing hands and heart. For more information, speak with or contact Calvin Chu (firstname.lastname@example.org) or Lizz Chu (email@example.com).
OMEGA LEADERSHIP CLASS
The final session of the Omega Leadership class will take place after service today (11/15). The class will start promptly at 12:30pm upstairs by the nursery rooms.
OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD
TRC will once again participate in Operation Christmas Child (OCC) this year. OCC is an effort that demonstrates God’s love to needy children around the world through tangible means by distributing shoeboxes of gifts during the Christmas season. Last year we were able to collect an amazing amount of toys and gifts to send abroad to children who would not have gotten a Christmas gift otherwise. Every year we’ve increased our giving and we are praying this year is no different! But we cannot do this without your help. We will be collecting donations the coming Sundays (11/15 and 11/22).
THANKSGIVING LUNCHEON (After service 11/22)
Join us for our annual Thanksgiving Luncheon after service on November 22. We will celebrate together with a wonderful thanksgiving meal as well as an open time of testimonies. Afterwards, we will pack the Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes! Please consider signing-up at the Welcoming Table to help with decorations, setup/cleanup, and preparing food.
THANKSGIVING HOME-AWAY-FROM-HOME GATHERING
For those whose immediate family are geographically distant, we warmly invite you to celebrate Thanksgiving with your church family at the annual Thanksgiving home-away-from-home gathering. The gathering will take place on Thanksgiving Day, and for additional details, please contact David An (firstname.lastname@example.org).
We will have a time of open basketball fellowship from 2pm-4:30pm after service today at Naperville Presbyterian Church (943 Sanctuary Lane, Naperville). All are invited to come play or watch!
Everyone is invited for an informal lunch after service today. This week’s lunch will be at Naf Naf Grill at 1739 Freedom Dr Suite 109 in Naperville. We usually gather around 12:45pm, so see you there!
