Life Groups: Life groups are our church’s small group ministry to study the Word, enjoy each other’s fellowship, and share life with one another. Various groups meet throughout the week: City, Lisle, Married, Midwestern U. (Downers Grove), Friday, and Schaumburg. To join one, email us or sign up at the welcoming table.
Thursday Prayer Meeting: 7:30 p.m. at National Louis University room 850-304
Sunday Prayer Meeting: 9:00am at National Louis University
Sunday Service, Sunday School, and Nursery: 10:30 a.m. at National Louis University
Youth Group [second floor]: Sundays at Noon to 12:45 p.m.
There are plenty of opportunities to put your gifts to good use at TRC. If you are interested in serving in some way, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
With new families and young ones joining our church in recent months, the TRC Sunday School Ministry is looking for additional volunteers to join the teaching rotation. No prior teaching experience is needed, just willing hands and heart. For more information, speak with or contact Calvin Chu (email@example.com) or Lizz Chu (firstname.lastname@example.org).
As the advent season approaches, we invite you to join us for our annual Advent services. Christmas Eve Service starts at 6pm on December 24. This is a special family service in which we will worship together, from young to old. The Children’s Ministry will present a song during the service as well. New Year’s Eve Service starts at 7pm on December 31, and will be a communion service as we enter 2016.
As another advent resource, Good News of Great Joy: Daily Readings for Advent has 25 short devotional meditations that begin December 1 and go through Christmas Day. Let us draw near to Christ this advent season!
WINTER OIL CONFERENCE
The winter One-In-Love (OIL) conference will take place from January 6-9, 2016 at Wheaton College.
