GUEST SPEAKER: DAN HYUNRev. Dan Hyun is the lead pastor of The Village Church in Baltimore, MD. He was raised in the greater Philadelphia area, receiving a degree in speech communication from Penn State University and a Masters in Divinity from Biblical Seminary. In 2008 he led a team to start The Village Church with the hopes of expressing a multicultural expression of the Kingdom of God. Some of his interests include urban ministry, church planting, sports, pop culture, and conversations on culture, race, & ethnicity. After God, his greatest desire in life is for his wife, Judie, and two daughters. His family will be at the retreat.

The children’s schedule begins Friday (8-11pm). Please pick up your child at their individual bedtime to tuck them in. The teachers will be monitoring the hallways until the end of adult snack time in case someone needs our attention.

Saturday, drop-off will begin after breakfast and we will meet you for lunch in the cafeteria. Children will be eating with their parents. Parents are responsible for students during free-time

* If there are any allergies, directions or concerns, please have them written for the teachers.

Our children’s program will be led by Meejin Lee (photo, left), who is a fifth grade teacher at Holmes Elementary, Oak Park. She serves her home church youth group with her husband Esteban, and is passionate about equipping children with the Word of God. Joining her are Tina Suh (photo, center), a digital social marketing professional, and Gloria Kwon, a graduate student in early childhood education. We are thankful for them!

Parents with little ones will have access to a room with an A/V feed of the worship room.

Also, the lodging for families is only a few steps away from the worship room, so we encourage you to bring monitors to keep an eye on your napping/sleeping child while you worship.
