Nehemiah Inductive Bible Study

We’re excited to invite you to join a special inductive Bible study series on the Book of Nehemiah this summer! As we journey through our "Rebuilding Together" sermon series, this study offers a wonderful opportunity to dig deeper into this powerful book of restoration and renewal. An inductive Bible study’s a straightforward approach to studying Scripture where we observe what the text says, interpret its meaning, and apply it to our lives. No previous Bible study experience or expertise is required—just bring your Bible and a willing heart to learn together!

Please register by Monday, June 10th to ensure we have time to order study materials before our first meeting. REGISTER HERE

We'll meet in Lisle at National Louis University prior to the Sunday service from 9:30–10:15am on the following dates:

Sunday, June 29: "Introduction to Nehemiah & Leadership Foundations"

Sunday, July 6: "Opposition & Economic Reforms"

Sunday, July 27: "Community Census & Repopulation"

Sunday, August 31: "Covenant Commitment & Community Transformation"

For City Campus Members:

We value your participation too! A Zoom option will be available specifically for City campus members who cannot make it to Lisle. Please indicate in your response if you plan to join virtually, and we'll send you the connection details.

Study Format:

Each session will include interactive discussion based on homework completed beforehand. The homework will involve reading designated passages and answering reflection questions—a meaningful but manageable commitment designed to enrich our time together.

Study Materials:

The study guide will cost $16 per person. However, we do not want cost to be a barrier for participation. If this presents any difficulty, please let us know, and we'll be happy to cover the cost. Study materials will be provided in advance of each session.

Why Study Nehemiah?

Nehemiah offers timeless lessons on leadership, prayer, overcoming opposition, community building, and spiritual renewal. As we study this book together, we'll discover God's faithfulness through seasons of change and how we can apply these principles to our own lives and community.
